SUTD PhD President’s Graduate Fellowship (PGF)

2 International Students must perform teaching / laboratory supervision duties to fulfil the requirements for the subsidised fees.
3 Scholars who pass the PhD Qualifying Examination will be eligible for an additional stipend of up to S$500 per month. The additional stipend is renewable each term, subject to good performance. The University reserves the right to suspend the stipend at any time due to poor academic or research performance.
SUTD MEng (Research) Fellowship
- Open to all nationalities
- Awardees will receive a scholarship which covers the applicable tuition fees (for up to 18 months) and monthly stipend as follows (with effect from 1 January 2024):

SUTD-DSO Graduate Fellowship (SDGF)
The SDGF is a premier graduate fellowship by Temasek Labs@SUTD (TL@SUTD) and DSO National Laboratories which aims to attract Singaporean graduates to nurture them in defence and security research & development (R&D) with a goal to develop future technical thought leaders in our defence ecosystem.
- Open to Singapore Citizens only
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or above with excellent academic standing
- Have a strong interest in defence science research and robotics and Artificial Intelligence applications
- 4 years of full tuition fee
- 4 years of employment as a research staff in TL@SUTD
- Exposure to defence ecosystem with internship opportunities at local Defence Technology Community (DTC) partners

Economic Development Board (EDB) Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP)
The EDB-IPP provides Singapore Citizens/ Permanent Residents with postgraduate training in a corporate R&D environment through EDB’s partnership with selected companies and with SUTD.
- Applicable for PhD and Master of Engineering (Research) programmes
- Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly salary & CPF contribution (remuneration determined by company)

Azimuth Labs — SUTD Scholarship LKYCIC
The Azimuth Labs - SUTD Scholarship LKYCIC was established to promote meritocratic access to education and provide opportunities to outstanding students pursuing their Master of Science in Urban Science, Policy and Planning.
The scholarship will be awarded to students who fulfil the following criteria:
- Full-time students pursuing the Master of Science in Urban Science, Policy and Planning
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
- Have good academic standing
- Possess leadership potential, integrity, good characters, and moral values
- Preference to (but not limited to) students whose monthly household per capita income is not more than S$2,500.
- Preference to (but not limited to) students who are active in Fifth Row/co-curricular activities and the community.

SUTD MArch Scholarship/Study Grant
The SUTD MArch Scholarship/Study Grant was established to support outstanding students pursuing their Master of Architecture.
Depending on the students' financial need, a scholarship or study grant will be dispensed.
Students must also fulfil the following criteria:
- Full-time students pursuing the Master of Architecture
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
- Have good academic standing
- Possess leadership potential, integrity, good characters, and moral values
- Preference to (but not limited to) students whose monthly household per capita income is not more than S$2,500 (to verify)
- Preference to (but not limited to) students who are active in Fifth Row/co-curricular activities and the community (to verify)
