Professor Tony Quek and his team won the Best Paper Award for their research article, “Enabling intelligence in fog computing to achieve energy and latency reduction.”

Dr Angela Wang Bo successfully obtained the grant from the Ministry of Education for her research proposal, “Towards Sustainable, Error-Resilient Graph Data Acceleration with Graph Convolutional Neural Networks and Approximate-Processing-In-Memory”.

Dr Marie Siew and her research collaborators have won first place in the Decentralized and Multi-Agents Track of the hosted by Berkeley Center for Responsible, Decentralized Intelligence.

Congratulations to Professor Tony Quek and his co-authors for winning the IEEE ICSIDP 2024 Best Paper Award
Their research paper titled “A Unified Tensor-Based Joint Communication and Sensing Parameter Estimation for ISAC with Large-Scale User Access” has been awarded the Best Paper Award by the IEEE International Conference on Signal, Information and Data Processing 2024 held in Zhuhai, China.


Congratulations to Assistant Professor Wang Bo for winning DB GlobalChip Award at the ISOCC 2024
Their paper, titled “Lookup Table and Neural Network Based Decoders for Real Time Quantum Error Correction” proposes a lookup-table-based, minimum weight perfect matching decoder, achieving a decoding latency of only 4 clock cycles for a surface code distance of 7.


SUTD faculty recognised globally for exceptional research in Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers 2024
SUTD’s Associate Provost for Research, Professor Chua Chee Kai, and Assistant Professor Xiong Zehui are among the 108 awardees from Singapore on Clarivate’s 2024 list of Highly Cited Researchers.


‘AI Sampling Singapore’ project wins Architectural Design – Speculative and Visionary award at BLT Built Design Awards 2024
The project, by Assistant Professor Immanuel Koh, explores the design agency of deep generative neural networks in learning architectural notions of three-dimensional exteriority and interiority with a redesigned 3D generative adversarial network (3D-GAN) architecture.


TechConnect 2024 Global Innovation Award
Associate Professor Desmond Loke, together with members from his lab including Dr Go Shao Xiang (SUTD PhD alumnus, Class of 2024) and Mr Lim Kian Guan, have won the TechConnect 2024 Global Innovation Award.
