We are pleased to share that Assistant Professor Zehui Xiong has won the inaugural 2021 Early Career Award from the IEEE TEMS TC on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies!

IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) Technical Committee (TC) on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) (https://www.ieee-tems.org/tc-blockchain-dlt/) seeks to facilitate and promote research, education, commercialization, and collaboration on the topic of blockchain and other DLT across different disciplines and countries, with the objective of contributing to the long-term technological competitiveness of blockchain and our society.

The IEEE TEMS TC on Blockchain and DLT’s Early-Career Award (https://www.ieee-tems.org/tc-blockchain-dlt-awards/) recognizes a early-career researcher from either academia or industry who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to blockchain and DLT. Emphasis will be given to the significance and impacts of the research work led by the nominee, for example in terms of publications on blockchain and DLT in premier conferences and/or journals, and/or grant patents relating to blockchain and DLT, consistently for a period of at least five (5) years. The nominee must have received his/her Ph.D. no more than five years from the time of the nomination deadline, and no more than one award will be given per year.
