It is with great excitement that we share the news of our students’ notable achievement at HackSingapore 2023, Singapore’s esteemed national hackathon. Against a backdrop of intense competition, with over 166 teams hailing from across the nation, team Cookie Clickers, comprising of SUTD students – Parth Kumar (CSD), Andrea Cheah Shiue Er (CSD), Fung Jing Wen Elisabeth (CSD), Reina Peh Shu Ting (ESD) and Mithunbalaji MG (Freshmore), has secured an impressive 3rd place in the Sustainability Track.

The project developed by Cookie Clickers is a remarkable mobile phone application that directly addresses sustainability issues arising from websites. This forward-thinking app meticulously assesses individual websites and presents sustainability metrics in the form of an interactive radar chart. Moreover, it offers practical, actionable recommendations to businesses, web developers, and web designers, enabling them to enhance the eco-friendliness of their online platforms.

As a community, we cannot help but be inspired by this team’s remarkable accomplishment. It serves as a reminder that when passionate individuals come together to address global challenges, meaningful change can be achieved.
