Congratulations to Professor Erwin Viray for winning the 2021 iF DESIGN AWARD
Please join us in extending our warmest congratulations to Architecture & Sustainable Design (ASD) Head of Pillar, Professor Erwin Viray for winning the 2021 iF DESIGN AWARD through the exhibition entitled “Food Shaping Kyoto” that he had worked on in collaboration with Kyoto Design Lab.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world, organized by the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH.
Food Shaping Kyoto, an exhibition that explores the origin of the city through the lens of food, has won over the 98-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world. The competition was intense: almost 10,000 entries were submitted from 52 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality which resulted in only 22% of the entries being awarded.
