The Future of Us Pavilion by SUTD’s Advanced Architecture Laboratory (AAL), led by Prof Thomas Schroepfer, received the Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies International Architecture Award (IAA) 2019.

IAA is the highest and most prestigious distinguished programme that honours new and cutting-edge design worldwide. Past and present award winners include Santiago Calatrava Architects & Engineers, David Chipperfield Architects, Morphosis, I. M. Pei, Steven Holl Architects, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and WilkinsonEyre.

The award giving took place at Divani Palace Acropolis in Athens, Greece, on 13 September 2019.

This is the 9th award for The Future of Us Pavilion, including the President*s Design Award 2018.
