Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP)

EDB-IPP Trainee Eligibility

• Be Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be eligible for full-time MEng/PhD/EngD studies
• Be employees (permanent or contract) of the Company receiving the grant
• Be earning a basic monthly salary of at least S$4,500
• Shall not be receiving concurrent funding under any EDB grant schemes, or, regardless of the awarding body, any bursaries or scholarships

Sponsorship by EDB and Company

• Total SUTD’s MEng, PhD or EngD Programme tuition fees
• Financial reimbursement of IPP trainee’s monthly basic salary (capped at S$4,000)
• Co-sharing of research grants to SUTD (50%, capped at S$25,000 per Doctoral Student / S$12,500 per MEng student)
• Sponsorship period up to two years for MEng and four years for PhD/EngD studies
