About the Project
Using an agent-based simulation, this thesis proposes a more efficient yet achievable urban form of Bandung 2118. The simulation is based on transit-oriented development, where the agents represent people occupying an area. The constraints are based on past and current demographic data. Algorithms are guided to meet the city’s long-term goals. An evaluation tool is used to measure the citizens’ efficiency to reach the nearest transit nodes and locate optimal MRT stations. The computed results, together with the site’s identity, provide directions for Bandung 2118 master planning.
