Traditionally, high rise spaces+places in the urban realm are reserved for users conducting business activity. The simple notion of demand and supply means that these places are exclusive addresses to be at. The scarcity of the resource makes it arguably- overvalued. This proposal takes learnings from American sociologist – Ray Oldenberg who coined the term ‘Third Place’ and looks to democratize public spaces by increasing accessibility.

The great good place offers spaces that hold regular voluntary, informal, and joyous gatherings of individuals beyond the realm of ‘work’ and ‘home’. These spaces together form the foundations of a functional democracy. They create social equity by leveling the status of the citizens, providing a seat for grassroots politics and public association.
