Strong Collaboration with Top Universities
SUTD, established in collaboration with MIT, has a mission to nurture technically-grounded leaders and innovators to serve societal needs. Together with our partnership with Zhejiang University (ZJU), SUTD students will be able to harness the best of the East and the West. Find out more about some of our collaborations.
Multi-Disciplinary Curriculum
Our students not only study courses in their chosen Major, but also the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, giving them a well-rounded perspective when tackling real world challenges and developing solutions.
Entrepreneurialism
A strong sense of entrepreneurialism is instilled in the pedagogy and our students are given ample opportunities to demonstrate this in projects and other initiatives.
Big D Focused
Our unique approach to the science of design and design thinking may be summarised by what we term as Big-Design, or Big-D, where students are involved in technically grounded designs related products, processes, services, and systems. It covers the full value chain from conception, development, prototyping, marketing, manufacturing, profitability, maintenance, to sustainability.
Industry Focused
Our students are given the opportunity to participate in research from Day One, working with faculty of industry on new breakthrough.
We believe that these five traits are what make our students unique and differentiated. Feel free to contact us if you are looking to brand your organization and create a strong campus presence among our community.
