What is FACT?
FACT (Freshmore Asian Cross-curricular Trips) is a 1-week overseas immersion programme which enables Freshmore (first-year) students to build upon their acquired knowledge at our partner universities in Asia.
Centered around specific Freshmore courses, FACT challenges students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to solving sustainability challenges within the region.
Situated right at the beginning of their SUTD journey, students can look forward to exploring the region and creating meaningful memories.
Who can apply?
All SUTD Freshmores (first-year undergraduate students) are welcome to apply!
What can FACT offer you?
- Rich and immersive cultural experiences in Asia with a tailor-made curriculum for students to acquire practical skills and knowledge
- Broaden your learning and regional networks through working with students and faculty from our partner universities
- Gain deeper understanding of regional economics and geopolitics
- Apply your new skills to real-world learning opportunities in Sustainability
- Meet and learn from industry experts and practitioners
Students will also receive a one-time travel subsidy up to S$700 to offset your expenses (including airfare, accommodation, local transport and travel insurance).
Students who have attended a FACT programme will enjoy higher priority for term exchange*.
