Kwan Hui Lim

Kwan Hui LIM is an Assistant Professor at the Information Systems Technology and Design Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and leads the Social and Urban Analytics Lab. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne, Research Engineer at the Living Analytics Research Centre, Singapore Management University, Research Intern at IBM Research – Australia, and various visiting appointments. He received his PhD from the University of Melbourne, and MSc (Research) and BCompSci (1st Class Honours) from the University of Western Australia.
He is a recipient of the 2016 Google PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning. His research interests are in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Social Network Analysis, and Social Computing.
Paul Cheak
Vice President, Head Certis Corporate University
Paul is an experienced curriculum developer and adult educator. He is an expert in several disciplines including organisational development, technology, and occupational health and safety, and integrates his experience and expertise to help organisations enhance their performance.
Paul had close to three decades of experience serving in the Singapore Armed Forces. He was deeply involved in the professional education of senior officers as Deputy Commandant of SAFTI Military Institute and Commandant of the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College. He was also instrumental in leading the Army Intelligence formation as Chief Army Intelligence Officer, and headed the Army’s corporate communications department. He was the primary developer of several initiatives including the operationalisation of the Army C4I Battalions, Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the Intelligence Officer Cadet Course, and the procurement of the HIMARS rocket artillery system.
He also has deep experience in curriculum development and training operations, and led his team to achieve the Gold Award by National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) in 2023.
Paul is a voracious life-long learner with five masters degrees and a doctorate in Occupational Health and Safety. His Ph.D. research became one of the top three finalist in the US National Safety Council’s Green Cross for Safety (Advocate) Award in 2022. He graduated on the Director’s List at the University of Cambridge, and was the Top International Officer and Master Logistician at the US Army Command and Staff College. He is the author of “Why Safety Is Not By Accident – Safety and Risk Management for Leaders and Managers”. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) (Military) in 2017 and the Long Service Medal (Military) in 2020.
Tan Cheng Kok

Tan Cheng Kok is a distinguished individual with a decade of experience as a senior lecturer at a Polytechnic, where he has undoubtedly shaped the minds of future innovators. Holding a PhD in satellite communications, his expertise in the field is both extensive and profound. His commitment to education is further exemplified by his certifications, including the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), and his role as an instructor for CISCO and Alibaba Cloud, which positions him at the forefront of technological training and development.
