Overview
Part of the ModularMaster in Data Science programme
Participants will learn to access and communicate with databases using RDBMS tools over the first four days. Participants will be equipped with the skills necessary to store a large structural dataset within an RDBMS tool and enable them to efficiently prepare the dataset for data analysis. The last day will be allocated for a project where participants are given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge.

- Aspiring data analysts, database administrators or data engineers looking to gain understanding of database in the context for data science.
- Business professionals such as project managers, executives, and decision-makers who need to understand concepts of RDBMS and how they can use data to make informed decisions.
Prerequisites
- Participants should preferably have passed mathematics at GCE O-Level or equivalent.
- Participants should be conversant with basic IT skills such as software installation, file c. management and web navigation.
- Participants are encouraged to complete the Foundation of Data Science before enrolling for this course
- Participants are required to bring their laptops.
