Create4Good Innovation Fund empowers individuals to create positive change in society through entrepreneurship. The programme aims to nurture and support aspiring changemakers, by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and mentorship to turn their innovative ideas into impactful ventures.
Through workshops, talks, panels, and mentorship opportunities, the programme strives to level up participants’ skills and knowledge, enabling them to address pressing social challenges and make a sustainable impact in their communities. For selected teams, we provide $50,000 (equity-free) to support the impact venture.
Requirements

At least one team member is affiliated with SUTD and/or SUTD-VIE programme alumni.

The project should not have received more than $50,000 in funding at the point of application.

The team should not have incorporated a business entity before the program and will be required to incorporate it if awarded the grant.

Frequently asked questions
I am not from SUTD / My team is not from SUTD. Can we still join this programme?
Yes, we welcome all aspiring founders.. However to be eligible for the Create4Good Innovation Fund grant, at least one member should be affiliated to SUTD through either being an existing student, an alumnus or a past participant of SUTD programmes. Unsure if a past engagement qualifies? Write to us!
How long does this programme last, and what does the commitment look like?
Typically between 10 to 12 weeks. Apart from attending the workshops, you may be expected to complete assignments outside of class (e.g., interviewing customers, preparing pitches and actively consulting your mentor).
As our programmes are designed to take you from zero-to-one in the most efficient way, we encourage you to follow through the full course of the programme. We understand if you have one-off commitments which might affect your attendance, but do make time if you are signing up.

What do I need in order to join this programme?
Most of our programmes require that you have an idea of the problem you want to address.
You can choose to join with a pre-formed team, or find like-minded teammates during the programme. We have had many participants who met their teammates during the programme as well!
What can I expect to gain upon completion?
On top of the newly gained knowledge, inspiration and relationships built with like-minded participants, you can expect to create a sustainable model for your impact mission.
