Biography

U-Xuan has been with Singapore University of Technology and Design since 2012 where he has been working on various robotics and automation related projects. His research interests include sensing & control, localisation & mapping, healthcare automation and human-robot interaction. He is currently the Chair of SUTD Institutional Review Board and is also a Senior Visiting Academician with Changi General Hospital. Prior to joining SUTD, he did his post-doctorate research with Professor Jaydev Desai at University of Maryland, College Park. He earned both his BEng (Minor in Business) and PhD (with Professor Ang Wei Tech) in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
