Game of Loans

Welcome to Game of Loans! This is a game for new bank management trainees to learn the concepts of risk management and maximising the utility of idle capital. The aim of the game is to maximise the ending cash balance while navigating risks of loan defaults and optimising the amount of cash on hand to keep to satisfy withdrawals versus invest in bullet loans to earn interest. Through this game, some MSO concepts that aim to educate are optimal order quantity, safety stock and seasonal demand anticipation.
