Improve Takeaway Food Delivery Service

The dataset we have, contained essential information of a Chinese takeaway restaurant delivery. The orders received need to wait in a queue to be delivered as there is one delivery man in our system, which takes the role of the server. Based on the timing data, we realised that the expected waiting time for the customers to receive the food is very long ( more than 40 mins) and we want to help the restaurant to reduce the customers’ waiting time by employing extra part-time riders at certain time in a day. We also utilised statistical measures to analyse the delivery strategy for the rider including Goodness of fit, single factor ANOVA and regression.
