Optimisation of Inventory Management

Walmart is an American Multinational retail corporation that mainly operates a chain of Supermarkets. In our scenario, we will be analysing Walmart’s demands from data on Kaggle and hypothesizing what would happen if Walmart opens its doors in Singapore. Our team would analyse the demand of the departments and analyse what is the optimal inventory policies to adopt are such that Walmart is able to operate efficiently, using models developed from both our statistics and MSO classes. This includes ANOVA testing from Statistics as well as EOQ models from MSO. We would further analyse the space needed and the feasibility of such an endeavour.
