Rush Flower
This project aims to empower startups by enhancing the delivery process of flowers, a perishable good, through route and logistics optimisation. The game comprises of three scenarios with increasing difficulty where players must strategise and score points to secure a spot on the leaderboard. Players get to decide on the number of vehicles, its type (Bike, Car, Van or Truck) and their routing. Each vehicle type has its own capacity and cost. The challenge lies in finding the optimal route and logistics allocation that has the least flower casualties and scores the highest points. The number of perished flowers will be determined by the user’s inputs. Hence, users must make informed decisions and balance the opportunity costs between the number of flowers perished, cost of goods, transportation cost and goods delivered.
