Join us for a lecture by Professor Elizabeth Christoforetti (Assistant Professor in Practice of Architecture, Harvard GSD; Design Director, Supernormal) and Architect Tiah Nan Chyuan (President, Singapore Institute of Architects; Co-founder and Director, FARM; Adjunct Associate Professor, NUS).

Elizabeth’s research and teaching focus on emerging modes of design practice in the built environment. Her work at Harvard GSD explores design methods, theories, and the technological building blocks that enable design practice to better confront the imperatives of our time, namely the intersection of artificial intelligence, environmental change, and market-driven urbanism. She is Principal Investigator within the Laboratory for Values in the Built Environment (ViBE Lab).

Nan Chyuan is a Director at FARM, a cross disciplinary design practice that won the President’s Design Award Design of the Year in 2010 and was featured in Wallpaper’s Architects’ Directory 2018. In 2017, Nan Chyuan was also recognised as one of Singapore’s emerging architects in URA’s third edition of “20 Under 45” exhibition. He was elected to the SIA Presidency in 2025.
