Vincent Oh (AWS) – Build with Generative AI on AWS

Generative AI is a type of AI that can create new content and ideas, including conversations, stories, images, videos, and music. With generative AI on AWS, you can reinvent your applications, create entirely new customer experiences, drive unprecedented levels of productivity, and transform your business. Join this session to see how to use generative AI for a range of tasks such as code generation, chatbots, text generation, search, image generation, and personalization. Through our collaboration with hugging face(HF), I will also explain how you can leverage HF tools and AWS services to build your own generative AI models – at speed and at scale.

Vincent is the Senior Solutions Architect covering innovation for AWS’s ASEAN Cloud Innovation Centre. He has more than 10 years of experience in architecting and delivering large ,complex SI and distributed solutions, specializing in Cloud Native, AIML, Microservices, Integration and DevOps Digital Architecture.

He graduated with honours (Distinction) in Computer Science from NTU and is a professional and specialty certified architect with all 3 major cloud providers – Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure & Google GCP. Prior to joining Amazon, he was working as Sr. Principal Digital Architect within Accenture and Cloud Engineering Practice Lead in UST. Serving as a Digital Architecture SME and helping client across various industries transform their tech landscape. He has also previously co-founded and managed a tech startup from incubation, development, funding to Go-To-Market. He is passionate about technology, and applying tech to solve real-life problems effectively.

While not busy hacking it out on his computer, he enjoys filling his free time with manga, strategic games and travelling with his wife and three children.
