WiOpt 2023

WiOpt 2023 (https://esd.sutd.edu.sg/wiopt2023/), the 21st International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad hoc, and Wireless Networks, will be held during 24-27 August 2023 in Singapore. WiOpt 2023 will showcase state-of-the-art research contributions from different fields in networks. It welcomes original and high-quality submissions related to modeling, performance evaluation, and optimization of networks. The focus includes but is not limited to mobile networks, edge computing, intelligent networks, content-driven networks, cognitive networks, vehicular networks, robotic systems, Internet. In addition to the three-day main conference, which features 3 keynote speeches and approximately 50 paper presentations, WiOpt 2023 will host 5 workshops comprising an additional 50 presentations on the first day. WiOpt 2023 will be hosted in Singapore, a modern island country known for its efficient policies and management in keeping up with advanced technology. This diamond-shaped island is the confluence of several major ethnic cultures in Asia, and simultaneously an international hub for residents and visitors from different corners of the world. The conference will take place at the NTU@one-north Executive Centre, which is near the central of Singapore, encompassing the city’s beautiful neighbourhoods. Both Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are the co-hosting university of this event. Through its multi-disciplinary and research intensive curriculum, SUTD nurtures technically grounded leaders and innovators to serve societal needs.

WiOpt 2023 will give one Best Paper Award and one Best Student Paper Award. For the Best Student Paper Award, the first author of the paper needs to be a full-time student at the time of paper submission. A selected set of papers will be offered the opportunity for a Fast-Track submission of an extended version to IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking and IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering.
