Biography

Sandra is a first-year doctoral candidate under supervision of Professor Sun Sun Lim and Andrew Yee. She has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience with regional multi-National corporations. She holds a Master of Arts in International Communications and has worked across all media (screens) from Television, Radio, Music (Artist & Repertoire), Film, Video – Home Entertainment and Gaming. She started her own consulting company in 2009 specialising in retail, hospitality, and gaming.

A keen believer of lifelong learning and giving back, she is the creator and project lead of a volunteer-led #techforgood gamification project about digital safety for kids (www.kidsplaysafer.sg). Kids PlaySafer is a partner of Digital for Life program and currently reaches out to over 80 registered beneficiaries with Family Service Centres in Singapore, and organizing Digital Safety Talks with experts across the communities.
