Video games have been one of the engaging mediums of entertainment for a few decades. Other than entertainment, video games can also be exploited to improve motivation for productivity. Learn to use Octalysis methods as a checklist to construct an engaging game design.

Yoga is the Game Designer in SUTD Game Lab. He has over 12 years of experience in video games development and spent the past 6 years with SUTD Game Lab, where he worked on Kinetikos (2017), Project PEAR (2020), and the upcoming Campus X project.
Early in his career, he worked as a Game Designer at various game studios in Singapore, where he developed Terra: The Legend of Geochine (Action Adventure – 2010), Winx Adventure (MMORPG – 2012), and Decisive Combat (Action Shooter – 2013). He also spent 3 years as a Game Design lecturer at Republic Polytechnic and was involved in the initial implementation of the Game Design curriculum.
His educational background is a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering and a Master of Information Technology. His love for video games led him to enrol in DigiPen Institute of Technology, where he studied for a Diploma in Game Design. He is a motorsport enthusiast. In his free time, he participates in various online racing simulator competitions.
