SUTD-AHE Fellowship Programme

Learning Sciences Lab launched the SUTD-Advance Higher Education (AHE) Fellowship programme in 2019 to garner international recognition of excellence in higher education. In this programme, nominated faculty and staff members receive mentorship and guidance from LSL in preparing a reflective portfolio of their teaching journey for an international peer review process set up by the Advance Higher Education (United Kingdom).

The Advance Higher Education Fellowship recognises personal and institutional commitment to excellence in learning and teaching in global higher education and offers professional recognition in the categories of Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow and Principal Fellow. All the first cohort of five applicants received their Fellowships.

Dr Nachamma Sockalingam from LSL is also the first Principal Fellow from Singapore, amongst 120 Principal Fellows from Australasia, and 125,000 Fellows globally. 

Together with her, faculty members, Dr Cheah Chin Wei, Senior Lecturer (Engineering Product Development and Science, Mathematics and Technology), Assistant Professor Nilanjan Raghunath (Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences), Dr Norman Lee Tiong Seng, Senior Lecturer (Information Systems Technology and Design) and Dr Oka Kurniawan, Senior Lecturer (Information Systems Technology and Design) received their Fellowships.
