Biography

Songhua LI is now a postdoctoral research fellow at SUTD, working with Prof Lingjie Duan. Before joining SUTD, he received a PhD degree in Computer Science from the City University of Hong Kong in 2022, and an MSc degree in Management Science with the highest distinction from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2018. He has broad research interest in optimization and game theory, and loves to brainstom research ideas while hiking and travelling.

Research Interests

His research interests lie in the interplay between combinatorial optimization & (performance-guaranteed) algorithm design in both classical and real-world application-oriented problems. Below lists some of his recent research directions.
  • Online Learning and Optimization (towards Uncertain Input).
  • Incentive Mechanism Design in Crowdsourcing Networks & Gig Economies.
  • Approximation & NP-hardness in Combinatorial Optimization Problems.
