Ms Corinna Choong is the Chief Sustainability Officer at SUTD, leading the university’s environmental responsibility efforts and sustainability initiatives in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She is also spearheading the development of the SUTD Sustainability Centre.

Corinna obtained a Professional Certification in Sustainability from MIT, further strengthening her expertise in driving sustainable initiatives.

Prior to this role, Corinna was the Senior Director of the Office of Marketing and Communications, which she established as one of SUTD’s early pioneers. She played a key role in shaping the university’s brand, working closely with the board and senior management. Under her leadership, the team earned numerous accolades, including Gold Award (Best Public Sector/Non-Profit) and Silver Award (Best PR/Marketing Stunt) at the Marketing Events Awards 2019, Best in Class at the Interactive Media Awards for the SUTD website, recognition of SUTD as Institution of the Year for promoting gender equality.

With over 30 years of experience in consumer marketing, branding, communications, and B2B marketing, Corinna has worked for Procter & Gamble and two leading government-linked companies, where she progressed to Senior Vice President. She has built brands to leadership positions and won multiple local and international advertising awards.

Corinna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
