CIO, IT&S Eastern Hemisphere and Global Head of Oil Middle Office IT&S, BP Singapore Integrated Supply and Trading (IST)
Peggy Mah is the CIO of IT&S (Information Technology and Services) in Eastern Hemisphere and the Global Head of Oil Middle Office IT&S for BP Singapore’s Integrated Supply and Trading (IST) business. In her role as CIO in Eastern Hemisphere, Peggy is accountable for all aspects of IT&S that supports the trading activities within the region. Peggy is a member of the IST EH Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for shaping the IT&S agenda in the region. She is also accountable for running the Global Oil Middle Office technology systems and team located across Chicago, London and Singapore. She owns the relationships with the global Commodity Risk users and directs global oil middle office priorities, operations and investments.
Peggy has extensive IT management experience in the commodities trading business, spanning across the front office, middle office and back office operations. She has successfully led teams in the delivery, implementation and support of global systems. She has a proven track record of managing concurrent multi-million-dollar projects across different time zones and demonstrated leadership in procurement, vendor and financial management. Peggy is also actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the technology department and works closely with senior stakeholders to ensure that technology priorities are aligned with the business.
Peggy graduated from Cambridge University, UK with an MPhil in Economics. She started her technology career with Accenture. Prior to BP, Peggy was with Noble Group in Hong Kong and Noble Agri in Singapore for over a decade. She was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Asia Pacific and was also the Global Finance and HR Technology Lead in Noble Agri.
