Congratulations to Student Lucas Toh and his team for winning 3rd Place overall and 1st Place for Cohere Challenge
Congratulations to our student Lucas Toh and his international student team members comprising of Nathan Espejom (Western University), Arsalan Khan (York University) and Wahib Barqawi (University of Toronto), for winning third place overall and first place for the Cohere Challenge in the NSBEHacks 2024 hackathon held at the University of Toronto.
About NSBEHacks
NSBEHacks is the first student-run hackathon hosted by the NSBE UofT Chapter and is dedicated to the experiences of Black individuals in technology and engineering. NSBEHacks UofT is their flagship initiative, bringing together 200 participants annually for a transformative 36-hour experience that aims to equalise opportunities for Black students in Canada by fostering a space that encourages creativity and innovation.
This year’s theme is “Redefining Cities for Youth” and encourages multi-disciplinary solutions that extend beyond websites and apps.
