Congratulations to Asst. Prof Carlos Banon for winning First Prize in International Ideas Competition: Alicante coastal corridor, Spain
His winning entry “My Connected Archipelago”, involved parametric design thinking and digital design techniques that our ASD students are familiar with, having learnt from early Terms in SUTD, and which he particularly applies in the Studio teaching. His project is a large intervention where sustainable considerations, articulation of the existing landscape and an ecologic principles have been considered.
