Oculaid – Helping the elderly to live more independently and eliminating the need for external aid.
Students from Anglo-Chinese Independent School came up with Oculaid. It is designed to resemble a spectacle frame, and can be used for assisting elderly patients with Parkinson’s disease in administering their eye drops independently.

iMedStack – The elderly will never have to worry about forgetting their medicine again.
Inspired by the idea of a push up pencil, a group of students from Sembawang Secondary School came up with the iMedstack. This ensures that the elderly will not get confused by the variety of medicine that they might need to consume daily.

Footle – An arms-free door-opening device.
Upper limb amputees face issues with common everyday tasks such as grabbing door knobs/handles. Thus, the RP student came up with Footle, an easy and simple solution to overcome this problem.

Cell Explorer – A cross-sectional view of an animal cell to help students better visualize the cell structure.
Most existing 3D cell structures are made out of paper or plastic. This makes it difficult to depict the 3D cell organelle structures accurately due to its complicated nature. Thus, the RVHS students thought of a simple way to overcome this through 3D printing.

Show My heart – A heart design that shows the clear structure of a human heart and its various blood vessels.
Creating a solution based on actual experience and feedback from students who had to learn to identify different blood vessels within the human heart through two-dimensional diagrams or dissection of a sheep’s heart. The RVHS student came up with this simple yet effective solution to illustrate the structure of the heart.

Mecanum Roll-Bot Wheels – Making Learning fun, easy and interactive.
Ever been in lessons where you had a hard time understanding the mechanics or model of motion for omnidirectional wheels? Mecanum Roll-Bot Wheels designed by a RP student aims to highly engage students in lessons with hands-on activities while making sure that students understand and retain the content that was taught, by having something tangible to ‘hold and play’ and making lessons more fun.
