KC is the CTO of PolicyPal, Asia’s leading InsurTech firm that helps consumers to manage and understand their insurance needs, empowering them to take control of their financial future. KC is a graduate from Nanyang Technological University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Prior to joining PolicyPal in 2016, he was a pioneer software developer at Nestia where he built the company’s technology stack from ground up. KC was introduced to blockchain in early 2017 and developed a deep interest in the technology. Since then, he has been involved in research and development at a blockchain start-up and contributed applications for blockchain mainly in the finance and InsurTech space.

Wye Huong Yan

Wye Huong graduated from Nanyang Technical University in 2014 with a B.Eng. in Computer Science. Thereafter, he worked as a software engineer at three different companies – one of which he co-founded – before diving into blockchain technology at his previous job. Wye Huong has experience in the startup and developer scene and has published conference papers previously.

Today, Wye Huong is the Technical Lead for PolicyPal and is accountable for the architecture, design, system stability and resiliency of the product. In his free time, he goes for long runs, takes care of his house plants and strives to become a coffee aficionado.
