Jonathan Tan (Unabiz) – Massive IoT: Tiny Sensors, Low Power Network, Unified Interface
Abstract
UnaBiz is an IoT company with a vision of massive IoT, focusing on sensors, networks and sensor middleware platform. The company has experienced through the cycle of technology hype, digitalisation PoC, pains and pitfalls, and finally the successful design and deployment of massive IoT across several verticals. To date, UnaBiz has deployed more than 10 million IoT sensors in the areas of metering, asset tracking, asset management, and smart facility management. Jonathan will be sharing some of the project experiences, the headwinds, tailwinds, and lessons learnt in IoT project implementations.
Speaker’s Profile
Jonathan is the Managing Director of UnaBiz Singapore, overseeing the business, sales and operations in Singapore network and solutions in the region. Jonathan is also currently EXCO in SGTech Smart Nation Chapter, and sits in IMDA IoT Technical Standards Committee, and ITE Central IoT Technical Committee.
