Resilient Designs: Post-COVID City Centre

In this panel discussion, Assoc. Prof. Chong Keng Hua & Asst. Prof. Hong Jooyoung and Asst. Prof. Kenneth Tracy share two studios, Public Soundscapes and Shaping CBD Futures, respectively led by them in Summer term 2020.

Public Soundscape, led by Assoc. Prof. Chong and Asst. Prof. Hong explores sustainable design in urban public spaces with a particular focus on soundscape.

Shaping CBD Futures led by Asst. Prof. Kenneth Tracy challenges students to create beautiful, positive future scenarios for Singapore’s CBD. This will be accomplished by combining placemaking with emerging fabrication technologies and performance- based design.
