Biography

Ilayda Canyakmaz received the Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey, in 2017, and the PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, in 2022. She joined Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in June 2022 and is currently a Research Fellow with the Engineering Systems and Design Pillar. Her research interests include control theory, dynamical systems, system identification and physics informed neural networks with applications in power systems and multi-agent systems.
