We Strive To Resolve Global Issues
We provide services
1. Public Engagement for the design of the Founders’ Memorial
- Conducting workshops to gather views from the public, in partnership with MCCY
- Phase II Engagement: We conducted a series of 8+ workshops to draw from hundreds of Singaporeans their desired (i) visitor experience, (ii) programmes and (iii) physical features, as well as the site options for the Founders’ Memorial.
Please find the key engagement findings here, and watch these videos to find out more about the workshop highlights! - Phase III Engagement: Facilitated two public engagement sessions for hundreds of participants to share their views on the six shortlisted designs.
- Outcomes and Impact:
– Hundreds of Singaporeans engaged
2. Understanding Critical & Inventive Thinking in school
- Investigating how design-led creative thinking and design sensibilities could add value to its development.
- This study was founded on 4 primary research elements: literature review, interviews with MOE HQ personnel, interviews and surveys with educators and students in Singapore, and interviews and surveys with international experts. Insights and opportunities were derived and synthesised, and a movement was proposed comprising several recommendations.
- Outcomes and Impact:
– 40+ schools surveyed
– 50+ interviews across stakeholders
– 8 recommendations produced
3. UV Resiliency
- Creating a culture of preparedness and risk reduction – with the MIT Urban Risk Lab.
- We developed a series of everyday products (from shirts to collar pins to hats and tote bags) that were embedded with photochromic material, which reacted to UV light by changing colour. It served as a warning and embed an awareness for dangerously high UV levels. More broadly, it was to raise awareness of climate change at large, in support of Singapore’s Year of Climate Action.
- Outcomes and Impact:
– 3 products designed and fabricated
