Enabling the future of creativity

Engage in interactive, computer-based simulations, hone your decision-making and analytical skills and tackle realistic, fast-paced operational scenarios that prepare you for complex, real-world challenges.

Our first-year curriculum encourages a comprehensive understanding across disciplines. It helps us look at things from multiple lenses and perspectives. Students can make informed decisions about their learning paths, resulting in an intentional educational experience, tailored to individual goals. With SUTD’s support and opportunities for entrepreneurship, I have also started my own company called Stick 'Em. Our mission is to make STEAM education accessible to all.

Huh Dam

Co-founder of Stick ‘Em, Engineering Product Development student

The design-focused and interdisciplinary curriculum at SUTD enables me to blend creativity with practicality. It has fostered in me an entrepreneurial mindset, teaching me to be adaptable, innovative, and resourceful — qualities essential in the fast-paced and ever-changing venture capital landscape. A design innovator requires a blend of visionary foresight, technical proficiency, and most importantly the empathy to understand and prioritise user needs. SUTD’s focus on human-centred design principles helped me develop these traits, which are crucial in my venture capital career, especially when assessing potential investments in innovative startups.

Liu Gelin

The hands-on projects honed my problem-solving skills, while the professors deepened my understanding of user-centric thinking. SUTD has instilled in us the fearlessness and confidence to change the world. I don't just envision a better world; I actively contribute to it through purposeful solutions that challenge the status quo. SUTD’s dynamic fusion of engineering and design creates an environment where innovation isn't just encouraged but ingrained in every aspect of learning.
