Day 1
  • Fundamental Theory in AM
    • Different types of AM and materials
    • AM Applications
    • Introduction to DfAM and basic 3D printing design guidelines
    • Advantages and limitations of AM
  • Theory behind Hyperganic Software
  • Hands-on: Operation of Hyperganic Software (GUI)
  • Hands-on: Operation of Hyperganic Software (Scripting)
  • Hands-on: Operation of Hyperganic Software – expanding the design space (Under the hood)

 

Day 2
  • Hands-on. Introduction to Coding Environment
  • Hands-on. Use of Simple API to create objects
  • DManD Lab tour
  • Hands-on. Operation of Hyperganic Software
  • Explaining SLA 3D printing and workflow
  • Hands-on. Using the Slicing software

 

Day 3
  • Hands-on. Collection of parts + Post processing
  • Final review + Assessment

 

Assessment
  • Weighted take home assignments (activity) and online multiple choice quizzes (MCQs).
