SUTD Dedicates Think Tank to honour the legacy of Mr A C Toh
On 7 December 2018, the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) named one of its classrooms in honour of the late Mr A C Toh, founder of the A. C. T. Holdings.
Mr A C Toh was an enterprising business leader. He rose to become the Managing Director of Sim Lim Co Ltd, one of the first companies to be listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange. Mr Toh was also instrumental in many of the joint ventures under Sim Lim Co Ltd before founding A. C. T. Enterprises, a holding company for these successful investments he initiated.
A. C. T. Holdings is a pioneer partner of SUTD. The company and family established the A C Toh — SUTD Scholarship in 2014, enabling generations of deserving students to pursue their education and aspirations in the fields of engineering and design. Their philanthropic support encourages learning excellence and provides immediate and lasting impact to the lives of our students and community.
