The New York Times online edition is a multi-platform news tool that provides full access to New York Times and International New York Times content, including breaking news, multimedia, reviews and opinion, blogs, videos and more. NYTimes.com is updated 24/7 with corresponding time stamps. From the home page, one can access more than 25 Times sections, including World, Politics, New York, Opinion, Business, Technology, Science, Sports, Arts, Fashion & Style, and Video. This site provides full access to New York Times articles published between 1851 through 1922, and between 1981 through current day. Access to the years 1923-1980 is limited.

Britannica Online Academic Edition, written by notable experts are authoritative resources, offering balanced, global perspectives and unique insights. This database is more than just an e-encyclopædia as it is integrated with many other research tools and reliable resources, providing users with an easy and comprehensive platform to launch their research on any topic. Britannica’s web search engine utilizes a sophisticated algorithm to improve the results of a standard Google search. Relevant magazine and journal articles, historical documents and papers, ebooks, multimedia, as well as carefully vetted external websites, are tagged to all retrieved articles and are fully accessible. Britannica Online also contains biographies and a media collection of videos and images, and includes access to World Data Analyst Online - a comprehensive database of statistics on every nation of the world. In addition, Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus with audio pronunciation is embedded in the database and accessible from any word.

Provides abstracts and indexes to over 12,000 journals and over 148,000 conferences, workshops and seminars, dating from 1965 to the present. Wiley Online Library is a journal collection that has an extensive coverage for online resources covering a wide spectrum of subjects that would be useful for research. It provides access to over 1300 journal titles in the field of Architecture and Planning, Business, Economics and Finance, Chemistry, Humanities, Lifer Sciences, Mathematics & Statistics , Physical Sciences and Engineering (e.g.Electrical & Electronics, Industrial Engineering and Material Science). Many of these titles are widely referred to from their impact factor.

The subscription includes access to all current content, plus a backfile stretching back to 1997 where available. World Bank Open Knowledge Repository (OKR) is an open access repository for its research outputs and knowledge products, the OKR allows anyone to use, reuse, distribute, and build upon the Bank’s published work, even commercially, as long as the Bank is given credit for the original creation. The repository contains thousands of works, including books, journal articles, independent evaluation studies, and policy research working papers. Topics covered include energy, communities and human settlements, information and communication technologies, infrastructure, and rural and urban development.

Britannica Image Quest offers over 2 million easy-to-use, high-quality images from more than 50 international collections, including the British Library, Getty, Oxford Scientific and National Geographic Society. A broad range of subjects is covered, including architecture and design, industry and production, the sciences, environment and ecology, and commercial design. All images have been rights-cleared for non-commercial and educational use, so they can be used for school projects without fear of copyright infringement.
