Mexican Ambassador & Embassy Officials Visit

Our strong collaboration with TEC Monterrey has caught the attention of the Mexican Ambassador, leading to his visit to SUTD. It was a pleasure for campusX to welcome H.E. Agustín García-López Loaeza, Ambassador of Mexico in Singapore, and his embassy team.





14th International Summit on the Teaching Profession (ISTP)

23 April 2024

Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) co-organised the 14th International Summit on the Teaching Profession (ISTP) with Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and Education International (EI) from 22 to 24 April 2024. 

During this summit, SUTD had the honour to host 34 of the delegates for a presentation of campusX education innovation programme and demonstration of Telepresence Learning System (TLS), Skills Tree, and CatapultAR (Augemented Reality) project.

The delegates found the campusX showcase to be insightful and were impressed by the educational innovations that Singapore is conducting.   

Relaunch of SUTD's Vision, Mission & Strategy Event

11 March 2024

At the unveiling event of SUTD's new Vision, Mission and Strategy, Guest-of-Honour, Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, had the opportunity to witness the progress of campusX projects such as Telepresence Learning System (TLS), Personalised AI Tutor and Skills Tree. The campusX team updated Minister Chan and guests the various design and functional improvements of these projects.

Launch of International Cyber-Physical Learning Alliance

The International Cyber-Physical Learning Alliance (CPLA) was launched at Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC) as part of the strategic direction to further advance Cyber-Physical Learning.

The alliance consisting of founding members from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (Singapore), Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), Aalto University (Finland), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong), and Zhejiang University (China), was recently joined by NEOM University (Saudi Arabia) and University of Ottawa (Canada).



Cyber-Physical Learning Alliance Summit (CPLAS) 2024

23 - 25 January 2024

The inaugural Cyber-Physical Learning Alliance Summit (CPLAS 2024) was organized by the International Cyber-Physical Learning Alliance (Intl CPLA), with speakers and presenters coming from Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD, Singapore), Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC, Mexico), Aalto University (Finland), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST, Hong Kong), and Zhejiang University (ZJU, China).

CPLAS addressed multiple themes and applications of cyber-physical learning, such as telepresence learning, ethics, educational models, learning analytics, and artificial intelligence, through keynote lectures, innovation talks, and panel discussions.
