Graduate Housing

Graduate students and students who are moving on to Term 9 who wish to stay at the University's student housing blocks should submit an online application during the housing application exercise held each July.  A supplementary housing exercise may be conducted in November for students who wish to stay from the January term, subject to vacancies.  Information on the housing exercises will be published on this webpage one week before the start of each housing exercise.

Hostel residents are to be aware of and to abide by the Student Housing Terms and Conditions (login/VPN required).

Graduate Supplementary Housing Exercise for January 2025 Term

Due to limited vacancies, this application exercise applies only to new, full-time graduate students who will be matriculating in the upcoming term for the first time, and who wish to stay in the hostel from January to September 2025. Other graduate students who are keen to stay on campus may fill in this MS form during the same housing application period (login/VPN required). If there are vacancies remaining after allocation, the Office of Housing will contact you via email.

  • Application window: 8 November 2024 (10am) to 15 November 2024 (10am)
  • Application results: sent progressively via email on 28 November 2024 (2pm)
  • Housing offer acceptance window: 28 November 2024 (2pm) to 5 December 2024 (2pm)

New students applying from a location in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway need not complete the online matriculation (OMEx) before applying for housing. All other new incoming students should apply for housing only after completing OMEx.

Rooms will be allocated according to the University's Graduate Housing Policy (login/VPN required). Your application outcome is subject to supply and demand, and housing is not guaranteed.
