PRC National College Entrance Exam

Criteria for Admission

Use this application form only if you are applying with PRC Gao Kao qualification. Senior Middle 3 students who are not sitting for Gao Kao should apply under the Other International Qualifications category.

Students achieving a Gao Kao score of >650 are preferred, but students with scores around 600 and above are also welcome to apply.

Those with Gao Kao >650 are not required to sit for the SUTD University Entrance Examination (UEE) if you are shortlisted.

If you are applying with your latest Senior Middle 3 Semester 1 results and are shortlisted, you will be required to take the SUTD UEE.

Please upload the following documents in PDF format to the online application form. All supporting documents uploaded should be in English. Otherwise, they have to be accompanied by certified English translations.

1. Passport particulars page (Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents must provide a scanned copy of their Singapore Identity Card. International students must submit their passport particulars page)

2. Academic results 

   • Grade 10 or junior high school equivalent examination results slips/transcripts.

   • Actual Gao Kao results or Senior Middle 3 Semester 1 results. Those applying with Senior Middle 3 Semester 1 results, must submit the actual Gao Kao results within 3 days following the official release date

   • University academic transcripts (for current or former university student)

   • English Proficiency test score

3. School or any other relevant testimonial(s)/recommendation letter(s) (optional)

4. Supporting documents of your past experiences in leadership, involvement in relevant research/ internship/ entrepreneurship programmes, community service, and significant achievements that you consider to be most important
