Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Whatsapp ASEM DUO-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award The ASEM DUO-Singapore Exchange Fellowship is awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to promote academic exchanges between full-time undergraduate students who are Singapore or ASEAN citizens and students from universities in European ASEM member countries. The Award, based on merit, is awarded in pairs of students coming from and going to the same universities - with each pair comprising 1 exchange student from SUTD and 1 exchange student from SUTD’s partner universities in European ASEM member countries. Eligibility Funding Conditions Full-time SUTD undergraduate students who are Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents or ASEAN members going to SUTD's partner universities in European ASEM member countries under the Global Exchange Programme (GEXP) Accepted as an exchange student by SUTD's partner university under Global Exchange Programme (GEXP) Good academic standing of at least CGPA 3.0 Active Fifth Row, leadership potential and community involvement would be advantageous OR Full-time undergraduate students from SUTD’s partner universities in European ASEM member countries coming to SUTD for Fall Term academic exchange under Inbound Exchange Programme Each award, valued maximum up to €4,000 will go towards supporting the cost of the student exchange programme including expenses such as airfare, accommodation, living expenses, etc. Recipients who are under external scholarships must ensure that they are allowed to receive concurrent awards or scholarships. Recipients are required to achieve and maintain good academic standing throughout the entire student exchange duration. The award may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the recipient’s academic progress or conduct is deemed unsatisfactory. Recipients are required to take on the role of student ambassador, or any other similar role, representing SUTD to give publicity talks, to receive guests, etc., as and when called upon to do so. Due to the nature of this award, if any student from a pair of awardees choose to withdraw or does not complete the exchange programme, both awardees from the pair will automatically be ineligible for the award and their award will be retracted. This award carries no obligatory bond period. The full set of terms and conditions will be conveyed to successful applicants.
