Singapore's move towards electric passenger cars and light goods vehicles has shifted into a higher gear, but the transition for heavy goods vehicles seems stuck in neutral. An SUTD study and one of its authors, Prof Lynette Cheah, were quoted in this article.

The inaugural Robotics for a Better World Challenge was held on 23 August 23 at Rulang Primary School. With the theme 'Disaster Relief', the competition attracted about 130 students from eight primary schools and three secondary schools in the Western District.

Castomize, a spin-off of SUTD, has come up with a cast for fractured bones using 4D-printing that conforms to a patient’s limb and becomes rigid after cooling down to provide the required support. This patented 4D-printing core technology allows the cast to be reshaped according to how the bone is healing.
