* As part of safe management measures, incoming residents may be allocated a specific timeslot for checking in. More details will be confirmed via email at a later date.

Students who wish to apply for housing should note the following:

  • Residents are expected to stay for the full duration of the housing contract as listed above. Those who shorten or cancel their stay may be imposed cancellation charges.

  • ​Students who are due to be conferred before the end of the above housing periods will have their housing end dates adjusted accordingly.
  • Students are to check-in and check-out during the dates/timing indicated above unless otherwise informed. Administrative fees may be applicable for check-in/check-out outside of the designated dates/times or outside of office hours.

  • Students who are offered housing and wish to check in during the early check-in period should refer to your housing offer for more information. Early check-in requests should be submitted at least two weeks before the intended check-in date. All requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

  • Students moving in before the contract start date will be charged accordingly for additional nights. Those checking in later than the contract start date are liable for the full student housing fees based on the housing contract unless otherwise informed.

  • Residents who wish to apply for a short extension of stay beyond the official check-out date are to email ecchousing@sutd.edu.sg at least two weeks before the official check-out date (contract end date). All requests are subject to availability.

  • Residents who fail to vacate their accommodation by the check-out date and time may be subject to disciplinary action by the University and are liable for late check-out charges/additional nightly charges at rates determined by the University. The Office of Housing will take appropriate measures to recover the room and/or apartment.
