These students have brought honour to the University and impacted the SUTD community positively. Jyoti and Aditya Mathur Student Achievement Awards Laurel Award Claire Tham Claire did SUTD proud through her resounding success at the World Flying Disc Federation 2023 World Under-24 Ultimate Championships. Foo Wen Xin Wen Xin brought honour to the University by clinching a gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games 2023 Floorball competition. Ong Jung Yi Jung Yi brought SUTD to greater heights of glory through his continued good standing at various swimming competitions in 2023 and 2024. Mount SUTD Team The team did SUTD proud for pushing their limits to summit Mount SUTD in commemoration of the 10th year anniversary of the first ascent. Sussy Egg Devs The team did SUTD proud by winning the national runner-up position in the James Dyson Award 2023 under Project Mimir. SUTD Competitive Robotics Team (SOAR) The team brought SUTD to greater heights of glory through their achievements at the 2023 Singapore VEXU Skills Challenge and 2024 VEX Asia-Pacific Robotics VEXU Signature Event. Tchoukball Women’s Team 2023 The team brought SUTD to greater heights of glory by winning medals at both the Singapore University Games 2023 and Collegiate Tchoukball Cup 2023. Student Leader Award Andy Low Zhi Hao Andy showcased excellent leadership skills as the Sports Cluster Representative of the 7th Student Association Council. Aster Angelic Leong Aster was an active student leader who demonstrated excellent leadership skills as the President of the Swimming Interest Group. Caitlin Wong Yu-Lin As the President of the 11th Student Government, Caitlin actively contributed to campus vibrancy and demonstrated excellent leadership skills. Chen Yirong Yirong demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and contributed to the SUTD community as the Project Director of the Freshmen Orientation 2023. Crystal Chia Sze Yun Crystal was an active student leader who demonstrated excellent leadership skills as the President of the Chinese Orchestra Club. Darren Chan Yu Hao As the Vice-President (Communications) of the 11th Student Government, Darren demonstrated excellent leadership skills and contributed to campus vibrancy through his active involvement. Goh Qian Zhe Qian Zhe demonstrated strong leadership skills through his active contribution as the Makers Cluster Representative of the 7th Student Association Council. Koh Yee Cheng, Danae As the Project Director of Night Fiesta 2024 and EXCO member of the House Guardians, Danae showcased excellent leadership skills. Phua Rui Yi Sarah Sarah exemplified excellent leadership by actively engaging the cohort as the Architecture and Sustainable Design Pillar Representative of the 7th Student Association Council. Tan Hiang Khai Joshua Joshua was a passionate student leader who demonstrated excellent leadership skills as the Engineering Product Development Pillar Representative of the 7th Student Association Council and in various leadership roles in other student organisations. Vainavi Vainavi displayed excellent leadership skills by contributing actively to her role as the Orientation Secretary of the 11th Student Government. Wee Chun Hui As the Information Systems Technology and Design Pillar Representative of the 7th Student Association Council, Chun Hui demonstrated excellent leadership through her contributions. Xie Jiacheng Through his role as Vice-President (Operations) of the 11th Student Government, Jiacheng demonstrated excellent leadership and contributed to campus vibrancy through his active involvement. SUTD Student Government, ROOT The team played an active role in campus vibrancy and student engagement through the organisation of numerous events throughout the year. What the Hack 2023 Committee The committee contributed to campus vibrancy and student engagement through the organisation of the hackathon. Student Service Award Brayden Tang Jia Jun As the Architecture and Sustainable Design Pillar Representative of the 7th Student Association Council, Brayden contributed significantly to campus vibrancy. Hannah Eva Jacob Hannah made significant contributions to campus vibrancy through her involvement as the Events and Welfare Secretary of the 11th Student Government. Issac Lim Jun Jie Issac contributed to campus vibrancy through his active involvement as the Events and Welfare Director of the 11th Student Government and the Project Director of the Learning Celebration Carnival 2024. Jean Soh Chee Teck Jean contributed to the SUTD community through his roles as the Performance Director of the Freshmen Orientation 2023 Finale, Performance Director of Open House 2024 Student Organisations Showcase and Vice-President of the Tinydesk@SUTD. Lim Wei Xuan Jonas Jonas contributed significantly to campus vibrancy through his multiple roles as the Logistics Director of Freshmen Orientation 2023, Project Director of EnROOT and RecROOTment and Project Director of Open House 2024 Student Organisations Showcase. Low Ryan As Finance Director of the Architecture and Sustainable Design Pillar EXCO, Ryan contributed actively to campus vibrancy. Manson Lee Qi Quan Manson contributed to campus vibrancy as the President of the Photographic Circle Club, Logistics Director of Night Fiesta 2023 and Senior Director of Freshmen Orientation 2023. Sean Peh Jia Jing Sean actively promoted campus vibrancy through his various contributions as the Vice-President of Bands Club and Performance Director of Night Fiesta 2024. Sitoh Chin Weng Bryan Bryan contributed significantly to campus vibrancy through volunteering across the martial arts clubs and conducting community outreach programmes for underprivileged youths. Tan Yih Reng Yih Reng actively promoted students’ housing welfare as the EXCO member of the House Guardians.
