Overseas Undergraduate Research

Embark on outbound iUROP for an enriching research experience with our collaborating universities or through faculty-collaborated projects. This exchange allows SUTD undergraduates to explore exciting research possibilities beyond our shores and immerse in overseas research culture.

Faculty-collaborated Projects
SUTD faculty can collaborate with overseas faculty and propose their iUROP project with us.

Research projects can be collaborated with our Partner Universities:

This programme is open to all matriculated undergraduates who have taken part in UROP before, and are not on Leave of Absence (LOA), Academic Probation or under Required Withdrawal.

To be eligible for iUROP certification, you should have satisfactorily completed the research work as evaluated by your supervisor(s).

Financial Aid

Singapore Citizens with Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) can use their PSEA for reimbursement of exchange-related expenses (such as airfare, VISA, accommodation, insurance and transport).
