Mapletree Bursary Award

Supported by Mapletree, this Bursary Award is aimed at providing financial assistance to deserving undergraduates pursuing their studies at SUTD.

Eligibility

  • Open to Singapore Citizens (SC)
  • Full-time undergraduates in any year of study at SUTD
  • Demonstrated financial need with monthly household Per Capita Income of S$2,500 and below
  • Good academic standing
  • Active Fifth Row/CCA and community involvement would be advantageous
  • Must NOT be a current scholarship holder

Tenure

  • The Bursary Award is tenable for one year only.
  • Recipients may reapply to be considered for the Bursary Award in their subsequent year of study, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

Benefits of Award

  • S$7,000 per annum
  • Award is strictly for tuition fees only
  • Successful recipients may be granted internship and/or career opportunities with Mapletree

Repayment

No repayment required. The Bursary Award must be refunded (amount equivalent to the total sum disbursed by the University) if the recipient withdraws or have his/her studies terminated prematurely.
